How can I buy IPO’S through standard chartered bank

@Bhuvan
Hi, I want to add the purchase date and Purchase price in the discrepant trades.
I have got the shares transferred to my account from my father’s account.
Suppose I have 15 shares having average price of 50.
But I bought 8 shares in one day and 7 shares in another day, that means I do not have a singlerpurchase date for the 15 shares.
Which date should I need to put for the purchase date?

Why Zerodha doesn’t provide to apply for IPO directly from kite plateform

How to purchase upcomming IPO using zerodha account.

Instructions for ASBA application via Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Use your DP ID & Client ID for registration of Beneficiary during the process.

Just wanted to confirm what will be the Client ID when applying for ASBA via Kotak.

I think Zerodha depository is CSDL. Please confirm this by logging into your account in https://q.zerodha.com/.
If it’s CSDL then the option will change to fill only Client ID.
For Client ID use DP_ID_NUMBER+CLIENT_ID_NUMBER.
E.g.:
If your
DP ID is : 2222
Client ID is : 1111
Then Client ID to be used is 22221111
Refer to the answer from Nikhil.A

You can now apply for new IPOs (Initial Public Offerings) from within Console. Until now, we asked customers to apply for IPOs using the ASBA (Application Supported by Blocked Amount) from their respective bank’s netbanking portal or by visiting a bank and submitting a physical application with your Zerodha demat account number.

The SEBI has now made it mandatory for all IPOs to be supported by UPI 2.0. This means that we can now support IPO applications on our own. This is a much simpler, online process. All you need to do is enter the bid price, quantity and your UPI ID.

Check this post on Z-connect for updates.

Can someone clarify the DP name ? Is it ZERODHA, ZERODHA BROKING LIMITED OR ZERODHA SECURITIES PRIVATE LIMITED?

DP Name is Zerodha. You can check out this post for more information.

IPO Bid keeps disappearing from Console, 5-7 times it has happened in 2 IPOs (Laxmi Organic & Craftsman Automation) I was trying to apply for… Today again it is happening in Nazara IPO…

Anyone else faced this issue today in Zerodha?

yes, facing similar issue, ‘apply’ happened twice. And still the status reverts to Apply (not ‘modify bid’) after sometime.

If I am applying for an IPO using SBI ASBA, can I see those in my Zerodha account after allotment?

Yes, you’ll receive it in your demat account.

Today I received an email about “Allocation Details of IPO” but still could not see that in my demat account

Yes, if you have applied using your Zerodha demat account details. The shares will be credited to your demat account. The credit of shares happens at later date, for ABSL AMC IPO, the tentative date of credit is 8th October. You will receive an email/SMS from CDSL once the shares are credited. These will reflect in your Kite holdings on the day of listing (11th October).

I applied for an IPO as an HNI through the [net banking ASBA] and now I want to cancel it? Today is the second day of the ipo so it’s not over yet.
How can I do that? as in the bank portal there is no option available to do so.

Hi @Ankur_Paliwal,

From which bank did you apply for the IPO? You can contact the bank regarding the same. If the cancel/withdrawal facility is available with that particular bank, you can withdraw/cancel your IPO bid before the end date of bidding.
