Fundamentally you just have to do one thing “Buy low sell high”…anything you bought at low price and sold at high price is a good stock…but the problem is “When to buy and at what price?”…to understand that you will have to learn technical analysis, technical indicator etc… if you don’t know these already .
And remember, irrespective of what you buy/sell, don’t start committing any money that you can’t afford to lose until and unless you have atleast 1 profitable year of trading.
I believe there is nothing called Best market/stock for trading. Find out whether a particular instrument is Trending/Ranging and based on that apply your strategies. Start with instruments with high liquidity. As a starting point, trade NIFTY index, then dig into the stocks which constitute the nifty index. Similarly go for BankNIFTY, CNXIT etc.
