Till today I had enabled only equities and futures trading in my trading account. Please educate me hw to enable commodity and currency trading in zerodha.
For existing clients opening other segment, accounts are made simple now.
We have a pre-filled MCX / CDS form with all the details on Q.zerodha.com under profile section. You can just sign it, print it and send it to zerodha office
the segment will open the account in 24-48 working hours

I have applied for Enabling Commodity trading in existing account", pre-filled forms sent & your office confirmed, they were received… it’s almost 15days… even after 2-3 reminders, it’s still not done… :’(

I have applied for commodity account. I have downloaded the pre filled form , signed it where ever it is marked & couriered to your office.
I also received a call from your office, he was confirming, by asking me some questions.
When will be my commodity account activated

A very basic question if under my profile it says:
Segments: NSE, NFO, CDS
Does that mean the Currency Derivatives Segment is also open for me to trade in?
Yes you can trade in CDS
Mine problem is same too. Its been a week now, I’hv sent ECN form. When my Commodity Account gets activated?
my god so many newbie is here… guys go for mcx… its much easier than equity
