How To Fetch Real Time Stock Futures (FNO STOCKS) Prices in Excel?

I want to fetch Open, Day High, Day Low, LTP real-time stock prices in Excel. Can anyone please let me know?

I’m an excel noob.

see this KiteXL

Thank you for sharing this. As I said, I’m a noob in excel and I don’t know anything about Macros.

Can you share a sample excel where I can fetch single FNO stock price (For example : ACC) into excel. I’ll replicate it for the remaining stocks.

It’ll help me a lot. Thanks.

You can use Zerodha Pi, to get real-time quotes in excel (win XP not supported). Just right click the stock name in your market watch and click on “link to excel”.

Or, you can also use google sheets to get google finance data (cash market). I’m not sure if FNO prices are supported). But this data is delayed by two minutes.

Below is the link which explains how to do this:

Thank you kishy.

I tried linking Pi to Excel. It didn’t work for me. It shows as N/A. I didn’t find any thread answering how it can be resolved.

And as far as Google Finance, it doesn’t show Stock Fututres (FNO) Data. It shows equity, which is of no use to me.

which version of windows are you using because XP is not supported.

I’m using win 7 and ms office 2010 and it works for me, have u tried using it during market hours.

yes kishy. I tried it during market hours. It didn’t work.

I’m using Windows 7. I tried running as Admin, it didn’t help me either.

I’m using win 7 and ms office 2010 and it works for me. Try again on Monday if it doesn’t work you should
contact zerodha support.

Okay! Cool. Thank you kishy for your time

I went to MarketXLS for this.
It has better data than Yahoo, it costs a little but I save time
