These scrip are banned from MIS. So these stocks also will be banned from CO and BO order. Right?

Hi Srinivas,

You got this wrong, Ban period is applicable only for derivatives, not for the underlying stocks. As stocks do not have anything called open interest since they aren’t contracts.

in bo/co margin screen. As Jet airways is not banned on MIS but on bo/co screen showing ban. I think The ban should be for f&o or it is for bo/co orders as well. Please clarify. Can this happen that stock is not banned in MIS but banned for bo/co.

The ban is applicable only for derivatives not on equity, equity has no ban period.
