The decision to split a share is up to the company, one cannot predict this.

i am not asking how to predict it, what i am asking is how to know when it is happening? does the company without intimation decide overnight that lets do a split tomo or do they give a prior intimation in public forum that there is going to be a split? if they give a prior intimation where can i find this prior intimation?
