How to make my zerodha account dormant

we (friends and family) each having zerodha account, and we were active traders… now as we got busy with other stuffs, we are not using these accounts…

so, any way to make these accounts dormant, so that we can avoid AMC charges and others,
i dont want to close these accounts as i will return back after 2 years
till then i just want to avoid charges, want to kept account alive…

is there any way to do it ?

Hi @kp123 , you don’t need to close your Zerodha account. If you have only one demat linked to your PAN across all brokers, it is considered a BSDA.

For BSDA with holdings up to 4 lakh, AMC is not applicable and the account will remain active. :slightly_smiling_face:

Also, if you have referred someone or plan to, the referral credits in your account can be used to offset any AMC. Explained here.
