How to recognise big player/operator in a stock

It is said that any stock has a big operator who leads the price of the stock. How can it be found that a big player started pouring money in a stock?

Time and Sales data.

Only a large institutional level buying can trigger such a volume and change in stock price. They effectively cannot hide their positions when they really want to just buy it.

Another IPO stock example where you can see huge buying interest!

also note down VWAP of the day you see huge spikes in volume. Because, institutional players will treat that VWAP as their cost price and will take price above that in the coming days.
Even if it falls below the VWAP (on small volumes) they will come back and buy again to ensure that they get profit when they sell it.
