I’m an NSE F&O trader. Like most of you, I kept losing money and couldn’t figure out the exact reason. So I built a tool to solve this — for myself and every trader like me.

Seems good but its making vast assumptions and not giving any specifics. For example, it says I’m revenge trading, I’m not but I’d like to see the trades that it thinks are revenge trades.

thanks for your feedback. The tool flags revenge trading when a loss is followed by a new entry within 15 minutes on the same day. So if it flagged you, it found at least one instance matching that pattern in your CSV. The current version shows the count and rupee impact.

“Hi Vipul, the new update is there plz chk it out ,here’s how it works — say a trader loses ₹12,773 on SENSEX PE, then within 1.3 minutes jumps into DIXON CE (completely different stock). The tool flags that pair as a revenge trade regardless of whether the second trade wins or loses — because the behavior of entering immediately after a loss is the problem, even if you got lucky that time. You’ll see the exact loss trade, the revenge trade, the P&L on both (green or red), and the gap in minutes. The rupee cost shown is only from the instances where the revenge trade also lost — so the actual behavior count is higher than the cost suggests. Upload your CSV and it’ll show your specific instances.”

this is really well built, especially the coach feature. quick question as a
fellow trader — when people use this, do they actually change their behavior
after seeing the diagnosis, or do they look at it once and go back to the same
patterns? curious what you’ve seen since launch
it depends on person to person if the person is ready to accept the mistakes he/she has done in the past which made them a huge loss, than surely they’ll know what are the patterns which costed them and will learn from it to completely avoid them in near future. and if the person is not able to control his/her gambling mentality or the fear and greed relationship with the money they will never learn or accept the issue within themselves. its all comes down to 1 simple thing - HOW BADLY DO YOU WANT IT???
