If the stock in question is not listed on the Exchange and the ISIN of such stock is suspended for transfer there is no option but to retain such securities in your account. Although the securities will be in your demat account, you will not be charged any AMC for it provided you've given your Depository Participant (DP) an application to stop billing. Upon submission of the forms, account would be marked for closure and no debits or credits would be entitled and no bills would be generated.
