@Aslan Hi, this may have happened because the dividend was unclaimed for 7 years, causing the RTA to transfer both the shares and unclaimed dividends to IEPF, even if later dividends were claimed.
It’s best you proceed with the reclaim process.FO Login

Hi, I’m in the same boat. At first I thought of doing the process myself but the process is quite cumbersome. I decided to go through a company that specializes in this - Share Samadhan. They handle everything and have a good success rate. BTW, Share samadhan got listed on the exchange last week. So, that gives one some more confidence to go with them.
The timeline for recovery from iepf is 1 to 2 yrs because the IEPF takes a long time to release the shares once they approve it.
attempting to get shares back from IEPF is tedious process
i have few other shares also which might get transferred to IEPF soon;
I am thinking of selling those shares
after few days will buy those again
so now they cant be transferred to IEPF as dividend for old shares is not linked to new shares
some companies cumulative dividend unclaimed is hardly 10 rs
and the cost of sending them papers for claiming is more than that
