I have an SIP with two funds and it take money from my account every 30 days. I hadn’t added enough funds on the trading day and hence it didn’t get allotted. I added funds into my account a day late. What do I do now?
Your SIP orders will remain open in the Coin orderbook for 5 days from the SIP date. So if you’ve added funds the next day, then your SIP will execute at the next day’s closing NAV. If it exceeds 5 days from SIP date, then the SIP orders for that mutual fund will be cancelled. If you want to add funds after 5 days equivalent to the SIP amount, then you can just make a lumpsum investment equal to SIP amount by using the ‘Buy Direct’ option on Coin and continue with the regular SIPs next month onwards.
Coin is flexible you know.
