If i buy an option of particular security some say but the securitiye become ban period in rest of the expiry can i square of my position

suppose i buy an otion of dlf in jan 2016 at the begining when no security in ban period but after 15 jan 2016 dlf comes under ban period .but i do have a postion in dlf can i suareoff my postion

First of all tgere is no ban on options and when securities become in ban period, u cannot buy the future of that particular security but there is no restriction on selling that security which comes in ban

First of all…There is no Ban on options in indian markets…there is Ban on futures… which means you cannot take new position in that particular stock future… you can square off your trade anyday when you fell good…there is no restriction on it…
