If i exit a limit order before the target profit is achieved will all my profit till that position be lost

Your question isn’t very clear Ashmeet. Can you elaborate? Are you referring to bracket orders?

No ashmeet, you profit is booked for Rs 5 (You have bought at 100 and you have exited or sold at 105)

Alternatively, if you are hoping that price will move above 110, then do not exit the bracket order, instead modify the target to say 115 and modify the Stop Loss value to 109 or something.

If price comes down, your profit of 4 rs (105 to 109) is always preserved with the stop loss.

If price goes up say to 115, you get more profits (105 to 115) 10 rupees profit.

my point is that if square off position is at say@111 of my contract and @110 i exit the bracket order will the profit achieved till 110 rs be lost if started the order say buy@ 105

If you’ve already booked a profit at 110, you’ve locked a profit of Rs.5 considering your buy was at Rs.105. Do note that to exit a BO order, you’ve to press F3, select the pending order and click on ‘Exit’
