Plz cal. my profit…
Let us consider your shorting 1 lot which is 25 quaintly. So 80-10=70 which if your profit multiply it by 25 which is 25x70= 1750 this is total profit and also the margin blocked will be revered back to you.
assuming you have sold 175 (7 lots), the profit will be 175 X (80 - 10) = 12250
This is for 1 lot, 25 quantity.
Thanks…how much chance to loss after shorting put option.?
Hello in shorting options the profit is limited which is the premium that you receive but the loss is unlimited. In your case if you short puts and the market is falling the put options premium will increase. So while closing your short position in a falling market you will end up paying more premium than you got from shorting. Hope this helps mate.
im not getting ur answer…
my que. is if i short 1st…
whether you short first and buy later OR you buy first and short later, its all the same when you look at profits
Short Price = 80 and Buy Price =10
Profit is 70 rupees
