If markets ran 24 hours

If suppose Indian market ran for 24 hours instead of current like 5-6 hours,

Advantages,

  1. There will bee no pre-opening session so no one will miss opportunity of first bet.
  2. All working people who can not pay attention during working hours can have chance in off office hours to do so thus increasing participation.
  3. As trading opportunity is always there so lesser speculation will be there.
  4. More jobs as working hours for markets will increase.

Disadvantages,

  1. Market concentrated volume will go down thus reducing better price discovery,
  2. Working hours of market maintainers may increase

what else things can happen tell your opinions,

Cant comment about it but I guess FOREX markets operate 24x7 , the biggest of all.

they do internationally but we can trade in Indian market hours only.
