Currently I’m holding Nifty March 2025 expiry, what exactly is going to happen after November 20?
Do I need to increase margin to adjust for 3 lots?
Or can I maintain same lot size of 25 till expiry?
Or need to square off before November 20?

If you are holding weekly or monthly expiry contracts, the lot size will not change for them and will continue to trade with same lot size until they expire.
If you are holding, quarterly or half-yearly contracts, the lot size will change only on December 26 end of the day for Nifty and December 24 end of the day for Bank Nifty.
If you have a long or short position in Nifty Mar 2025 , you will need to add 2 more lots to reach a total of 75 in order to close your position after December 26.
This picture should help you understand from which expiries changes will come into effect:
So you mean that Nifty march 2025, currently is 25 qty and before Dec 26th 2024, we should add 50 more to make it 75 qty.
So, does that mean that this 75 qty position will remain open till March 2025, or we have to close and buy fresh?
Yes
Its your choice either you can close and buy it fresh or you can add 50 quantity to make it 75
@Zahid What happens in the scenario that OP does not do anything to the MAR-2025 position of 25 qyt(lot) after 26-dec-2024?
You cannot close the position until expiry.
