@im_bala oh ok may be , because i opened 4 years back with TD ameritrade - Now they merged with Charles schwab - my account automatically transfer to charles schwab , they give same advantage for me - but you have option with others also lile tasty trade look there
How about tastytrade, first trade,IBKR bro have your tried.
@im_bala They approved for me Level 4 Option Spread 2
That Means i can do all covered trades expect naked one
they promise me after 6 month they will approved naked one also - when our account grow 10k
but i am happy with spread
@im_bala IBKR they will not allow you to trade in option as you are indians
tasty Trade they will allow 10k intial deposit
But Befor TD ameritrade is so good for indians they allow to trade option with small amount , but now they merged with charles schaw
Nice bro,What about cash segments charges bro
@im_bala
Charges are $0 for online trades
but option is $0.65 Cent per contract - but if you befor your account with TD ameritrade option Charges is just $0.10 Cent
For investment is $ 0 - free cash In your Trading Account yield 5.5%
any way its lower then India - super liquidity - you can sell option in 2028 spy option also
Is live market data how much cost
Is it in your name, as a Resident Indian?
You can’t trade Derivatives in US right? How are they allowing it ?
Why Not , they will allow - its all depend upon broker - IBKR they will not allowed , because they have a office here - others all are will allowed some broker have a cap of intial amount , thats all
@VijayNair @Arpan @im_bala , i will tell some intresting thing in USA ETF - i am Heavily Investing on that
One is XDTE S&P 500 0DTE covered call ETF - this ETF is distributing Dividend is 26.5%
they will distribute every week as dividended - this ETF will sell option on daily expiray
If you invest 10 lakhs rupees - every week you will get 4000 rupees - and i reinvest in those Etf and Nasdaq
the option in this ETF will expiray on daily basic
And the dividended distribution is
And another one is QDTE N100 0DTE option expiray ETF - Its dividended yield is 40% - because of high volatility in nasday they have high premium - what the benefit you know they long in overnight they will sell call on 10 am only anything long they will capture - anything market down also we can get good dividended
i reinvest in QDTE ETF itself - Its snowball effect i will get good dividended after 10 years
and the distribution is
for super fast compounding - i am reinvesting those ETF itself - My target to invest 20 lakhs each - then i will reinvest those dividend- charles schaw broker itself reinvest the money we dont want to look that - against those holding i will do spread strategy - there margin system is super good
@nithin
Hi,
Will prop trading firms solve this problem??
If retail will be targeted then may be separate ,small, groups of traders can band together to start prop firms as partnerships then how will SEBI see this?Is it still retail?
Will there be a distinction based on account value?
retail is such a big net…
From 10,000 to 10 cr will everyone be retail ??
Can brokers not introduce separate category for those traders that have big accounts?
Also how does SEBI decide what needs to be done without feedback?
Option trading would not be such a big mess if SEBI didn’t-:
1.Kill intraday stocks by removing leverage
2.Kill futures (by removing leverage and keeping charges so high)
3.No mini futures
4.Introduce weekly options for every single index
Can someone not tell them that can do many things to improve situation rather than arbitrary things they do
Also stocks themselves are no safe haven…last 18 months have been golden but large number of Smallcaps and madcaps can fall 50% in a month in a single correction …SO what will Sebi do then
?? because those stocks have 3 times more investors than option or futures
I like the idea!
I don’t think full-time retail traders will have any problem.
Probably a bit unrelated but - Why is brokerage for NRIs so much higher and can we expect any change in brokerage for NRIs with this new circular?
