In Coding the last candle is 0th one, second last 1st one and so on, Does 0th candle mean the last completed candle or current candle where LTP is fluctuating?

In coding , 0th candle means the last candle, 1st candle means second last and so on. Here 0th candle means which candle

a) the last completed candle or

b) the current candle where LTP is shown fluctuating till the time period of that candle expires ( this candle keeps on changing till the time of that candle expires) ?

In tradescript LAST represents Last Traded Price of Current Running Candle
