Incorrect Crude Oil Daily Candle for 15th Feb '18

Hello guys,

The open price of Crude Oil Feb futures is 3915 on 15th Feb, if you check intra-day chart, however if you look at Daily candle it shows as 3850. I want to know why is there such discrepancy in the prices.

This leads to distortion in the candle that is made and results in confusion.

Why are the OHLC values on daily and hourly charts different?

Can someone please explain why Bank Nifty candle for daily on 21/07 shows the high as 24294.95, whereas on the hourly time frame it shows 24265? Almost a 30 point gap? [image] [image]

Daily candles will get adjusted as per Bhavcopy of the exchange.

Check with Exchange Bhavcopy for that particular day.

Note : Sometimes we cant see open price of any security. In fraction of a second price may move away from open price. Minute charts may not catch that point.
