We are Currently at 38.37 Lac Crore with the Industry growing at 66% in last 4 years. When do you think The Mutual Fund Industy will hit the 100 Lac Crore Mark ? And which group is gonna lead in the next leg of the journey ? I think we may see these traditional companies lose their market share to Funds like Mirae Asset , PPFAS .
Does these comparative figures discount for the rupee inflation and the appreciation in the value of the invested assets over the years under comparison.
Say for ex, A sells 10 apples for 100 rupees 4 years back , now A sells 10 apples for 200 rupees.
Now comparing the apples sales turnover of 200 to 100 , can A say there is a staggering increase in the demand for apples ?

I believe these are absolute numbers without considering rupee inflation .
We saw 15% depreciation in INR in last 4 years.
Meanwhile , Nifty has grown 80% , Mutual fund industry has grown 66% so yeah…There is growth in real terms as well.
