Indian stock market

I have been observing nifty from one week. I feel something fishy , as nifty is being controlled by foreign investors that too before election which is near . What is real hidden secret or agenda . I am confused whether to invest or not

Brexit will happen, UK will probably cut the tarrifs to near zero. Elections in India will probably bring back a new govt…so not a good idea to invest in stocks at this point
