I submitted Infy shares in Buyback but Console shows profits in the older way. When will it reflect P&L based on the new taxation methodology where the cost value should be shown as a Loss and sell value should be shown as a dividend. @siva
We display buybacks separately in the trade-wise sheet, allowing users to either avail themselves of the tax-free benefit for buybacks before October 2024 or pay tax according to the new rules for buybacks after October 2024. We’ll see how to make this better in the upcoming updates.
