@siva@Arockiya_Raja I am worried about submission of Infosys buyback details to taxman. Last year, for a specific company I was entitled to tender only 109 shares in a buyback but I tendered all 500 shares. Finally 115 shares were accepted. However in my AIS (Tax) it incorrectly showed that 500 shares were accepted in buyback. I request you to only submit the shares that are accepted in the Infosys buyback and NOT shares that have been tendered by clients.
Zerodha does not provide any details that are updated in the AIS report.
The IT department procures the details from exchange and depositories.
The AIS report is solely prepared by the IT department.
Also note Taxpayers can submit online feedback on AIS. If the taxpayer feels that any incorrect information has crept in, they can submit that feedback online. Taxpayers can also submit the feedback offline via the AIS utility.
