Intraday negative cash balance query

Despite having more than enough cash margin( more than 100% of the required margin), and a positive opening cash balance, my Intraday cash balance shows a negative value on the ‘Funds’ page on Kite. I have not done any trades during the day.

I believe since I have enough cash equivalent margin, the ‘Available cash’ should not be different from ‘Opening balance’. Is my understanding not correct ?

Note that this happens on some days and not on others, and is only an issue intraday. The next day opening cash balance shows up correct.

Edit: Got response from admin. My understanding was not correct regarding ‘Available cash’ calculation. I have negative Options MTM which gets deducted from intraday cash balance(I thought only futures affect available cash balance), but does not get deducted from EOD cash balance.

This could be happening due to settlement holidays, of which today is one.
