Introducing new fundamentals widget on Kite powered by Tijori

Introducing the new fundamentals widget powered by @Tijori_Finance on Kite web and app.

The new widget gives you a quick snapshot of stocks, ETFs and indices on Kite across metrics such as valuations, revenue breakdowns, financials, shareholding patterns, & more.

Here’s what’s new👇

Overview

This tab gives you a quick performance overview of stocks, indices, and ETFs. You can see the PE ratio, the PE ratio of the sector, the 52-week high/low, the historical performance chart, and more.

Revenue mix

In this tab, you can see the revenue breakdown of a company by products and geography. You can quickly get a sense of how the company makes money and from which locations. This tab also helps if there are geopolitical events and you want to know if the stock is affected.

Events

You can keep track of corporate actions such as earnings, dividends, bonuses, splits, and more. You can also follow news stories related to a stock, which will be live in a few weeks.

Financials

You can get a quick snapshot of the quarterly results and a financial summary of the stock. You can also see peer comparisons and the stock’s shareholding pattern.

Exchange traded funds (ETFs)

For ETFs, you can see their performance overview, tracking difference, asset allocation, holdings, and sectoral exposure. You can also see a peer comparison based on fundamentals and performance.

The widget is live on both Kite web and mobile. You can invoke it from the context menu on Kite web, on the Kite app, tap on the instrument name and swipe up.

hi, is there any update on this? its still not solved. thanks!

Hi,

Yes, this is noted. Across kite symbols are used for both equity as well as ETF’s. So accordingly the symbols have been used within the fundamentals widget too.

We will make a note of this and see if can make it more clear

Why was TickerTape replaced in favour of Tijori?

Can I get a list of dividends issued by companies in my account without having to open each of them?

You can view the dividends received by financial year by downloading the dividends report from Console. You can check the process here.

We have fixed the following bugs on the widget

  • Upcoming events like dividend etc now showing for all dates and not just three days before the ex-date
  • March 2024 data was missing in financials for a few companies

Next on our list of things to do

  • enhance the ratio section
  • enhance the price chart

Enhancements that can be expected in the next few days

  • News integration with Reuters

dude @Tijori_Finance, please add the “name” of the instrument in the fundamentals section. it’s so basic. what’s the point of fixing everything else if there is no name of what you are trading? i have reported it three times now: once in forums and twice in service requests. i’m not sure how this could be overlooked. how are we supposed to know what alpha etf is? is it Nifty Alpha 50 or Nifty Alpha Low Volatility 30, or something else entirely? How can we know without a name, bro?

here’s a game challenge for you (if you google, you need to fix this asap):

guess the correct answer:
Example: NIFTY50 - Nifty50 (correct), Nifty Midcap, Nifty Smallcap

MAKEINDIA - Nifty Infrastructure, Nifty Manufacturing, Nifty Commodities, Nifty Realities.

ALPHA - Nifty Alpha 30, Nifty Alpha Low Vol. 30, Nifty Alpha 50, Nifty Alpha Momentum 30.

TNIFETF - Tell me what this is without a name in the fundamentals section?

NIFTYQLITY - 200 Quality 30, Quality 30, Quality 50? What on earth do you think this is?

Hi, will get this done, thanks for the suggestion. Deciphering an ETF by symbol can definitely be hard.

No need to decipher. Just get the name from NSE/BSE.

Here is list of all ETFs on NSE. It is updated daily. https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/content/equities/eq_etfseclist.csv

Ask your developers to match ISIN/name from Kite and display the rough name. Both underlying and security name is present in that CSV.

I assume you have something to get data from NSE/BSE already. The names are also present there.

@Tijori_Finance Do you have an API or plan to offer an API anytime in the future to let users made trading bots based on Fundamentals?

I don’t think there is any Indian Stock website which would provides a fundamentals API like balance sheet, Market share, Earnings etc?

Hi, we meant from the users perspective deciphering the name can be hard, so will add the full name
