Just FYI The option chain issue is present outside the terminal mode as well.
if possible look to simplifying the settings because we rarely use them and add some colours. option to lock the terminal mode designed by a trader, so that doesn’t get deleted accidentally while switching widgets.

Yes , this is the only thing which I liked.
But this should have been since day one, else why do we all trade?
This should be the natural thing to do for any broker for stability and platform speed, this does not qualify as new development.
I am on this forum for more then 5 years, never seen someone asking for widgets. and since you introduced widgets it must be the most sought after thing in this forum, correct?
Well, I disagree.
Exactly where you guys are failing since 5 years.
Same old issues still persist.
Example Case :-
There are many such issues. Why they were not ironed out?
I can list 20 more issues like this, but you guys will take 5 more years to fix those.
Thanks, but no Thanks.
Have you seen platform’s of your competitor’s?
You guys should have been industry leader, but here you are struggling to fix issues.
If this thing remined buggy like this for few more months, my estimate is that your active trader numbers will fall like a stone, the consolidation is coming to an end.
I loved and recommended Z to everyone, but cant suggest it anymore.
Best Regards
yes sir, it is working now.
I understand your perspective, and I’d like to clarify how we generally approach product development.
Our focus is always on delivering a clean UI, an intuitive UX, robust backend systems, and a fast, sleek, and smooth experience, rather than shipping features in haste. For example, the new MarketWatch on the app took time not because of coding, but because getting the UX and UI right on the mobile screen required multiple iterations, edge-case handling, and thorough bug fixes. We don’t ship a feature until we’re confident it works well in real trading conditions.
On certain requests, such as third-party integrations like TradingView for core functionality, we have been clear about our stance. We prefer building and owning our core systems rather than depending on external providers. Every platform operates with a different philosophy; ours is focused on long-term control, stability, and sustainability.
I agree that there are numerous things on the list. But that will always be the case for any software product, not just us. The key question is prioritisation. We evaluate what benefits the majority of users, what improves platform stability, and what aligns with our strategic direction.
Regarding Terminal Mode, it addresses specific user needs such as:
- The default layout leaves some unused space on the sides. Terminal Mode utilises the entire screen more meaningfully.
- Single-screen trading, where users can view all required data in one place based on their preferences. Some users prefer to position MarketWatch on the right side.
- In the default layout, we need to be more cautious not to clutter. Here, the user can choose which widget they want, which provides flexibility for introducing new features.
- Always seeing available margin and PNL.
- Multiple instruments pinned at the top
- The company updates widget provides many critical details that someone wants to track.
- Important data that earlier required navigating across multiple tabs is now accessible within the same view (for example, the economic calendar)
Different traders have different workflows. Not every feature is intended for every user. If this feature does not meet your requirements, it may simply not align with your trading style.
You’re completely justified in your viewpoint, and we respect that. Not every feature will match every user’s expectation. Certain aspects may appear simpler on the surface than they are in practice. We conduct deep research, gather feedback from multiple channels, not just this forum, and iterate extensively before rolling out features. Decisions are based on data and a clear roadmap. If certain requests are not implemented, it is usually because they do not rank high in priority or do not align with our long-term product direction.
We appreciate strong opinions, but our approach remains consistent, research-driven, and long-term focused.
@Arockiya_Raja Please provide the option to sync the symbol for ex: - if selected reliance in the chart it automatically syncs with Market Dept and option chain.
Thank You Zerodha team for the features , This New features are really helpful ![]()

So that site it scanned is just the login page of https://kite-beta.zerodha.com/, not any functional page.
While I do agree that Zerodha is more privacy respecting, there are better ways to show it
