Introducing Terminal Mode on Kite - Beta

Lots of expectations. is giving feedback or suggestions even matters ?

Any update about TFC mobile app update

The supporting backend is planned to go live this coming weekend, followed by the app release the week after next.

This is implemented.

This section still follows the previous basket design. We plan to bring the new basket design here in the near future.

This was deliberately left out because of a corner-case bug. We plan to revisit it once that issue is resolved.

Strategy builder and a few other things are on our to-do list.

This is on our wishlist.

Allow tagging in holding and/or in the order window, opening console may not always be part of the flow to just tag a order or holding

Console tags will be available on Kite holdings, allowing holdings to be filtered by tag. Tagging from the order window was previously introduced but later deprecated due to limited adoption. Since trade-wise tagging is not supported, adding it back to the order window is not feasible. Once tags are available on holdings, we will review adding tagging directly from Kite.

I’ve noticed a syncing issue: when a position is sold, the holdings panel in Terminal mode fails to refresh. The standard Kite interface correctly reflects the updated quantity (like Qty 0), but the Terminal panel does not

Hey @Axiom

This shouldn’t happen; the sale of holdings will automatically sync on the terminal too. Could you please check again? If you still face the issue, please share a screen recording with us. We’ll get it checked.

Thanks for your response Karthik, but I think your testing team should check it. This is not a new issue. It’s been there since the terminal was launched

hi
can you please add any button on the screener to open a chart directly as a marked in below
image . it is very helpfull to go through chart one by one… thank you very much

can you add option to select underlying asset in filter. if I select NIFTY it only how all nifty position (Future+options). (I know I can group by underlying and exiry)

Hey @sharadha_thumula

Thanks for the feedback. This makes sense, and we’ll share it with the team.

As per my understanding, the current grouping already categorizes positions based on the underlying.
Are you looking for an option to filter and view only specific positions instead, and hide or show other positions as a list? If so, could you elaborate on how you would use this and how this could benefit? This will help us understand the requirement better.

lets say I have nifty, banknifty and sensex position and there is sensex expiry. so just want to see sensex expiry only.
in grouping option their (nifty&banknifty) P&L is added in TOTAL P&L.

Filtering by the underlying expiry covers the majority of use cases. If there are any updates or plans to introduce this feature in the future, we’ll provide an update.

you can say no directly. I will understand.

One can also see group pnl separately right, based on underlying we give pnl as a line item.

When there are multiple positions open. It is really hard to focus on particular position even with grouping feature.

Tried this search filter?

But when I switch app and comeback do I have to search everytime.

In app TOTAL P&L hides when I search.
