Sure, all these are on our to-do list.
Hi @Arockiya_Raja @siva
I have been trying to use this Native Option Chain for last one month, the way it’s made is not very useful as a Quick Reference Tool. It takes time to load and the charts needs to be reloaded again to come back (all drawing are lost if not saved). I can very well open an option chain on a separate tab of the browser and go back and forth the tabs for quick reference, rather than use this native option chain.
Please have a look, if the intention of this option chain was to use it as reference tool while the main focus is still on charts, then it’s not serving the purpose. This thing needs to be in a modal window for it to be useful, which will keep the charts active while we look at the option chain.
@siva @Arockiya_Raja when i open option chain in new tab and click on 3 dots in a particular strike price (more option) the pop up is out of the screen , it only happens in left side of screen.

here on left the pop up windows is out of the screen
browser - Microsoft eedge
zoom level - 100%
This will be fixed soon.
I agree, it is on our to-do list.
This is fixed.
Hi team,
- When will be the new option chain be available on mobile app for Android users?
- Is there any plan to launch any feature similar to dhan’s power trade mode like single click exit or modify quantity/order type from the positions or the open orders itself?
Couple of weeks more.
This may be too risky but currently with 3 clicks user can change instead one click on pending orders, but will see if we can reduce it to two clicks. From positions 2 clicks two clicks only required.
Also you can check out TFC, can be much faster to exit, one click is all it require to exit and reverse position.
modifying the quantity by simply entering a number on the position page or on the order page , converting the intraday to normal order, existing the position by simply clicking on X etc., wont pose any risk to us. Think of it, they are very much useful in the volatile markets.
Right, the system should at least ask for confirmation before sending the order to the market. I’m not sure what others think, but I find it risky. Just one unintentional click can completely change the open positions
@siva @Arockiya_Raja In my opinion, the “Chart” icon should replace the “Add to Marketwatch” icon, as viewing charts is typically a higher priority for traders. The “Add to Marketwatch” option can be moved to the three-dot menu for secondary actions.
This is subjective, many people want option to add multiple strikes in easy and faster way to market-watch, but we will review this.
Alternatively, you could minimize the MarketWatch icon labeled as “W” and add an additional icon labeled “C” for Chart, similar to the existing “B” and “S” icons. This would enhance efficiency and provide quicker access.
Will there be a toggle to switch the change in OI to absolute numbers or have it in absolute numbers instead of percentages
Sensibull uses absolute change and it works well to gauge it in real time
I asked it previously as well but it has probably gotten lost in the sea of messages.
So writing it again.
Will the option chain on the kite app be implemented by the end of June atleast?
Will check with team on this.
@Arockiya_Raja @siva @DhanushK
When the “More” menu opens on the side, some parts of it get hidden under the option chain and other sections, making it difficult to access certain features.
Still same?
We are checking on this. Will update on this. Currently, this is happening on certain pages. This should be fine in the dashboard. Also, please check after zooming out for now.
