@Deepak_Kumar_Singh can you check this?

Hi @Neelesh , I am not able to approve UPI autopay in Bhim as it is saying Rs 40000 is the limit . Please help me on this .

that’s set by your bank.

UPI autopay is not useful for large SIPs. Unless you do them on separate days and even then you run the risk of hitting the limits with other shopping.

I am going to do monthly SIP of Max Rs 15000 in 3 spearate days . But Zerodha is asking for Rs 1 lac approval for which BHIM is not allowing to approve that amount . I already checked with HDFC Bank , they could not help here.

@Neelesh Can this limit set to to Rs 40000 from zerodha end ?

This seems to be a limitation from BHIM and your bank. You need to switch the UPI app and also request your bank to increase the limit.

The default limit is 100000 that can’t be changed. You can set the debit instruction within that limit.

Hi @Neelesh
Please look at the support ticket 20241216592105 urgently.
The UPI auto pay is deducting amount continuously from the bank.
For a total of 5000 SIP, it has deducted 13500.

I cancelled the mandate in Coin, but still getting transaction SMS from the bank.
Help!

though it counts as breach of contract, a mandate can be paused in the UPI application also.

Please refer to bank customer care for penalties in that case. I am not liable. Also consider calling zerodha with your support code handy.

Mandate cancellation only works before T minus 2 days from mandate day. Coin Mandate modification in the 2 day window can place duplicate orders - #4 by foobar If you modify it within 2 days somehow, there can be duplicate orders.

Checking this ones seems to be a bank issue.

Hi @Neelesh

Why there is continious deducting money from bank account for SIP of Rs 5500 . There are three instance hapened . is zerodha coin trustable fo rmutual fund sip ?

One ticket also has been raised #20241216977002

Please help.

Was the SIP date on a weekend? Mine was on 15th Dec Sunday.
On Monday night the bank started deducting the SIP amount. It did it for 3 times.
I then reduced the account balance to almost zero by transferring to a secondary account.
Didnt want to see the all the amount transferred to mutual fund by morning.

The SIP was not modified anytime in the past week.

Yeah it was on 15th. For time being i suspended the auto pay .Now zerodha is telling that money will come back in seven working days :frowning: . I have upcmoing SIPs in the coming days

Is your Bank also HDFC bank?

ICICI.

My guess is it is not a bank issue then.
The SIP date falling on a weekend probably caused this.

We figured out the issue and will share the RCA shortly. The excess money debited will be refunded by ICCL as a priority. We have requested that they process the refunds as soon as possible for the affected transactions.

Is the fix deployed now @Neelesh?
Shall I create new SIPs using the UPI mandate in coin?

@Neelesh ji what was the root cause ? It seems zerodha Coin is an unstable product . i am planning to deregister all the SIPs.
