Hi Folks

Out of curiosity , Just wanted to know how companies allocate the share in retail . I know this is a lottery process but how it all happens . Is it all automated? or is it manual ? or manual intervention is possible . I am skeptical if this can be wavered to take advantage by certain people to give benefits to their personal.

The whole process is computerized so there’s no possibility of intervention.

IPO allotment for RII goes to draw only if its a large oversubscription.

Nevertheless, the draw of lots is computerized and hence Everyone has the equal chance to get the allotment & its totally depends on your luck.
