Is a lien amount's interest counted and credited to my bank account?

If we apply for IPO from ASBA facility of banks, our bid amount goes in lien balance. Do we get interest on that amount?
My bank account is with SBI.

Yes! As long as the amount is marked lien, you’ll continue receiving interest on it. When the amount is allotted towards IPO, the amount is actually debited from the a/c.
