I noticed in latest Kite mobile & web there is charges being displayed even for CNC orders - now is there delivery charges for buying wrt CNC which was free before?
The charges will be applicable if they turn out to be intraday trade. Otherwise it will be 0.01 for delivery per contract note.
It also shows the applicable other charges like tax and SEBI charges etc. Brokerage is 0.01 per contract note for delivery.
The brokerage on equity delivery trades is zero. However, statutory charges such as STT, exchange transaction charges, SEBI charges, stamp duty, and GST will be applicable. Please refer to this article for more details:
Also, for delivery based trades, a minimum of Rs. 0.01 is charged per contract note. As per taxation rules, a service can’t be provided for an absolute 0 fee, due to which a token amount of 1 paisa is charged.
