Is diversification any useful, purely from a speculative trading purpose?

DIVERSIFICATION IS ALWAYS SUGGESTED TO INVESTORS .

HOWEVER , SOMEONE WHO IS A SPECULATOR .

FOCUSED PURELY ON INTRA-WEEK TRADING .

SHOULD HE CONSIDER DIVERSIFICATION INTO MULTIPLE SEGMENTS / MULTIPLE SCRIPTS OF SAME SEGMENTS .

OR SHOULD HE BE FIXATED ON A SAME SCRIPT & POLISH THE SKILL ON THE SAME THING ?

The biggest challenge with retail traders is that they end up taking a lot more risk than they are supposed to. So anything that can reduce risk is good, for investing, short term or intraday trading.

So yeah, Iā€™d say diversify.
