Is frequent selling of mutual funds classified as business income?

As per various cbdt circulars, frequent selling of shares means that the profit is classified as business income. Whether the same applies to mutual funds too? Suppose I am frequently buying and selling mutual funds(every 3 months) will it be taxed at 15 percent profit or as business income?

Hey @Kishan_Kumar1,

Yes, in that case, you can report the same as business income and it will be then taxed as per slab rate.
