Is it ok to buy a stock where promoter stake is nil or is it too dangerous to buy given the conditions that it has good background over last 10 years

Its promoter stake is decreased to 0% from 28%.But the company is very old & have good background.What to do?Is it good to buy?

Decrease of promoter stake is generally a bad sign but we should not solely based on that reason alone to invest.
