@Streak I have 2 buy strategies.
- Which shorts a dynamic option PE at ATM.
- Which buys a dynamic Future for the next month.
Both of them have the exact same entry conditions but different exit conditions.
Yesterday when the entry conditions matched the dynamic future contract executed but the dynamic option PE did not.
At first I thought that my entry condition must be faulty. So did a back test and saw that it executed in it.
So, I stopped the strategy and redeployed it and the same the thing happened today too. The futures contract executed and the options didn’t.
So, is it not guaranteed that my strategy will execute ?
