My friend has been using Zerodha for about 6 months.
She is a home maker and transfers money for SIP every month from her husband.
She asked if her husband can directly transfer to Zerodha if his account is added as secondary account to her Zerodha account ? Are there any restrictions such as the bank account holder should have the same name ? @Bhuvan @nithin_kumrr

No, It is not possible to transfer the funds directly from the husband’s account. You’ll be allowed to add money only from bank accounts in the applicant’s name.
If the husband and wife have a joint account, it is a better option. They can use it as a secondary bank account.
