Yes it is possible to convert Physical share in to Demat form. The process of conversion is called Rematerialize.Ā This can be done by Depository participant.

YES, This process is called Rematerialisation.

Rematerialisation isĀ converting the securities held in electronic form in a Demat account to an equivalent number of securities in physical form (certificates) after debiting the same from the Demat account.In order to rematerialize securities one has to fill in a RRF (Remat Request Form) and submit to Demat provider. These will be available with yourĀ demat provider / broker.
