Is my understanding of DP charges correct for MFs?

Namaskara!

Can you guys, please confirm, my understanding of DP charges is correct?

Case 1: I purchase Axis Long Term Equity Fund for 5 years in 60 SIPs. I redeem all 60 SIPs in one single shot. My DP charges are Rs. 5.50 + 18% GST. And NOT 60 x Rs.5.50.

Case 2: I purchase Axis Long Term Equity Fund for 5 years in 60 SIPs. I redeem 60 SIPs in 3 different times. My DP charges are 3x (Rs. 5.50 + 18% GST.)

What I understand is, for a “XYZ” mf/stock, irrespective of number of times I invest in same mf/stock, while redemption, I will be charged DP charges only once during “full redemption”.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Namaskara @AbhiCrux

Case 1: Rs 5.50 +18% GST will be charged

Case 2: Yes, 3x (Rs. 5.50 + 18% GST)

Dp Charge is charged once per scrip/mutual fund scheme on one day irrespective of the quantity sold.

Did you stop charging DP charges …if not where can I see those charges in console?
also where can I see specific only MF related other charges like stamp duty and STT assuming you dont have dp charges anymore?

Hey @curiousvi

Zerodha does not charge any DP charges during redemption of Mutual Funds.

Zerodha charges 0.005% stamp duty on purchase.
