Is STT/Brokerage/NSE charges on lot value or margin deposit

Can some one explain me if
STT 0.01%, Brokerage 0.01%, NSE Charges 0.0021% are on the margin of the futures contract or the value of the lots you hold.

All charges/taxes for a trade are calculated on the trade transaction value, where transaction value = qty * price.
