I’ve been trading Indian equity and F&O for a while. Got frustrated with spreadsheets and apps built for US markets — wrong STT rates, no broker import, no F&O lot sizes.
So I built EdgeLog — a trade journal specifically for Indian markets.
What it does:
Broker Import
- Direct CSV/XLSX import from Zerodha Kite, Angel One, Groww, Upstox
- Auto-detects trade direction (long/short) from broker format
- Handles weekly options symbol stripping automatically
Brokerage Calculator
- Correct STT rates post-Budget 2026 (Futures STT 0.05% from April 1, 2026)
- Options exchange charge 0.035% (NSE circular May 2024)
- Delivery STT on sell side only
- GST, SEBI charges, stamp duty — all calculated correctly
- Flat ₹20 brokerage cap for discount brokers
F&O Analytics
- NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCPNIFTY, SENSEX, BANKEX lot sizes built in
- Options P&L tracking with premium decay
- F&O position sizer with risk-based lot calculation
Performance Analytics
- Win rate, profit factor, expectancy
- R-multiple distribution and Total R score
- Per-trade Sharpe ratio
- Max drawdown with recovery tracking
- Best/worst day of week analysis
- Strategy-wise performance breakdown
- Day-wise and instrument-wise P&L
AI Trade Coach
- Rule-based insights from your own trade data
- Identifies worst strategy by expectancy
- Detects stop-loss discipline issues
- Flags overtrading patterns
- Best and worst day of week analysis
Psychology & Journal
- Pre-trade checklist before entering positions
- Post-trade mood and psychology journal
- Weekly review prompts
- Monthly P&L goal tracking
Cloud Backup & Security
- Encrypted cloud backup (AES-256-GCM)
- PIN lock with biometric support
- Multiple profiles (track different accounts separately)
- Home screen widget showing live P&L

All good for plain OB. But multi leg OS with adjustments cannot be automatically analysed.

Thanks VijayNair! That’s very useful feedback.
Multi-leg options strategies with adjustments (like rolling
positions, adding legs to existing spreads) are on our roadmap.
Currently EdgeLog handles single-leg F&O trades well. For
complex multi-leg strategies, you’d need to group them manually.
Would you be open to sharing what specific strategies you trade?
That would help us prioritize the right features — spreads,
iron condors, calendar spreads?
Appreciate the honest feedback!

yes you can try Tradlyt https://beta.tradlyt.com
It provides behavioural analytics along with journaling, and integrates seamlessly with Zerodha.
It runs a behavioral audit across 10 distinct trading mistakes (such as overtrading and revenge trading) to show users the exact rupee cost of their bad habits. It also calculates pre-trade risk probabilities to prevent emotional losses.
EdgeLog looks solid — the STT calculation alone is a pain to get right. Does it handle multi-leg options positions like Iron Condors as a single trade entry, or does it log each leg separately?

Thanks! And yes, STT + charges were exactly one of the painful parts we wanted to get right. For multi-leg options, EdgeLog imports each leg from Zerodha first, then you can group them into one strategy/trade journal entry, like Iron Condor, Straddle, Strangle, etc. So the legs stay visible separately for P&L and charges, but the review/journal can be done at the overall setup level.
We’re still improving auto-grouping, especially for adjustments and partial exits, so please do try the app and share honest feedback. If you find it useful, a Play Store rating/review would really help us, and please recommend it to trader friends who might need a cleaner F&O journal too.
That makes sense — grouping at the strategy level while keeping legs separate for charges is the right call. The adjustment/partial exit case is tricky, especially for condor rolls where a leg gets replaced mid-trade. Will try it out and leave an honest review. Good luck with the build!
Really appreciate that, thank you! And yes, adjustments and partial exits are exactly where multi-leg journaling gets complicated.
Once you try it with an actual Iron Condor or adjusted position, please let me know if anything feels confusing or requires too much manual work. Honest feedback from someone trading these strategies is genuinely useful for improving it.
Appreciate the response! Actually running Iron Condors and Butterflies regularly so this is exactly my use case. Will test with a live position and see how it handles a mid-trade roll — that’s the part where most journals fall apart. Will report back with specific feedback.
Hey, just checking in, did you get a chance to try EdgeLog with any of your trades yet? Would really love to hear a feedback from you…
