I would like to get csv data for Intraday, so that I can practice my day trading skills offline. 1- minute day would suffice. But I would prefer to download the data for the recent timeframe.
Chinmay,
NSE sells data: http://www.nseindia.com/supra_global/content/dotex/data_products.htm
You can either buy it from NSE or from a registered reseller.
-
Try http://www.globaldatafeeds.in/ - reasonable pricing, 30 days option available, backfill available and tie up with zerodha for special pricing. You can use it with Ami Broker also.
-
Alternately some broker terminals allow 30 days intraday 1 min chart and option to save data to excel e.g. Trade Tiger (ShareKhan).
-
Spider software is also good option. Since you want to practice day trading skills, there is very good feature of action replay where intraday chart is displayed tick by tick as if during real time. One can save data to excel also. They do provide trial/demo in case you want to try.
Personally I wouldn’t recommend intraday trading on 1 min chart - too less time to decide, lots of whipsaws, transactions and losses. 15 and 60 min are preferable but nothing less than 5 min.
I was too searching for Intraday Options data . I came across the link of a blog through some forum.
Thanks for the link!
can u guide me how to save data from trade tiger
Damn, you found it for free. I got my options data from Truedata (paid). But I am not allowed to share it, I think.
Any can share any other datasource?
