Hey!
I’m searching for a realistic paper trading platform for Options.
Can anyone suggest me some ?
Sensibull’s virtual trading platform is the one which gets as close as to real trading.
There is one called Neostox. It supports Index/Stocks/Commodity F&O segments and is free to use.
I found it useful.
If you are using strategy to do options trading then you can just do it on streak itself, it accounts for slippages, does tp/sl and squareoff tracking.
this app is fantastic…only if you know how to use it.
Try opstra (https://opstra.definedge.com/)
U can simulate, backtest as well…
Better than sensibull I feel
All the trading platforms in my opinion provide simulated accounts just like the real trading platforms and feeds.
Thanks
This is Good !!
opstra’s “options back-testing” is for few highly liquid stocks and the prices of entry/exit are very much questionable. They dont have the time-stamps of entry/exit and LTP of EQ.
They just have option prices and entry exit dates.
Repeated emails to them about the problem didnt yield anything.
On any paper trading platform, its better to verify if entry/exit prices match with say nseindia snapshots.
else query about the difference with nseindia prices or just ignore them.
try OptionX.trade I have used neostox (paid) but currently I am using OptionX (Free 5cr Virtual Fund) from past couple of month and found to be the better than neostox, tradingView, stockgro. They provide live (5sec delay) data streams, with oi, greeks, charts with ladder based intuitive order placement and best part is it works for all indices including NIFTY, BANK NIFTY, SENSEX, Commodities and Stock Options.
Additionally if you are option seller you get 36 pre-built strategies, with payoff graphs, and one tap strategy execution and if you want you can connect to any broker - zerodha, angelone, dhan, kotak and place the order in one tap and put a mtm based target and sl.
