Is this Forex trading legal in india?

i came across this advertisement on info session on fores trading from FXCM. On google, FXCM is found to be listed on NYSE and a reputed company. Is this legal in india to trade on FXCM platform?

Yeah, RBI has restrictions on these products. You could stick to FX products offered by NSE.

The way the markets operate have changed completely and the dealing in FOREX is completely legal and is part of the FOREX Exchange market. The FOREX market deals only in currency buying and selling and is managed by the boards which are managing the commodity markets in India.

Yes… i is illegal in INDIA. only 4 pairs of Currency futures allowed in INDIA and legal

Yes, Forex trading is legal in India. Now, at the present all you need to trade in forex is to have a Demat account. Forex is legally allowed within Indian exchange, NSE, BSE, Multi commodity exchange. The forex trading is fully controlled by Reserve Bank of India.
