Is this wrong - Bearish Engulfing with EMA (for short trades)

I applied the code given here… https://zerodha.com/expert-advisors/code/bearish-engulfing-with-ema

​and the result was that Hindalco is bearish as per the Scanner. Sell signal.

However when I saw the chart… the conditions mentioned of EMA 21 day crossing over 9 day… or the engulfing is not seen.

Pls guide… i took 1 hour period for 100 days…

scanner works on the live market and it gives immediate alert when the pattern or condition meet where as in backtest it will check on end of the candle once the candle completes or fully formed so the results may differs
