Is "traders cockpit" any good?

Stumbled upon this website which provide classroom and online training in Bangalore. Has anyone attended any of their classes. They provide classes on various subjects in the market. I’m looking to attend the one for basics of Technical trading in Bangalore. It will cost around 10k. Im wondering if I should buy a good book and look into that or go for this classroom training. Below is the link guys can check out

Internet has very wide content which is free, ofcourse. For example the varsity content is exemplary. If you have the patience, you could brush the concepts in varsity and go for some online video tutorials in internet, mostly in youtube. Some of them cover the fibonaaci, elliot wave, all moving averages, ADX and much more than what they have shown in that website link you gave. I am also a beginner and I follow this approach. Hard earned knowledge never leaves you easily.

Having said this, trainings are good, the cost to benefit ratio for 10k seems good. If you can afford it without hesitation, I think you should take it. Just check with them whether you can record the training session in your mobile phone for personal use, so that you can rehear it later. Probably in 2 days time or something, they are going to dump everything on you. You should rehear what they said and take it slowly in your further trading sessions, thats why.

To be specific, i don’t hv any info on that particular training course.

In general, it depends on at what stage u r at in trading and how much Risk capital u hv got to trade after the completion of the training, etc. I believe that EXPERIENCE trumps everything in financial markets.

If you consider 10K INR itself as the Risk capital, you can gain experience by surviving 1-2month trading on index options, 2months trading less volatile stocks on margin(100 qty), 2months buy side trading on currency options, Lifelong with investing on bluechips.

Choice is yours!

I took up the beginners’ Technical Analysis Online Training. The course has good content and the TA tools at TradersCockpit.com are excellent. Perfect for a head start to technical analysis and trading. Taking the course will help to understand trading psychology of market and the TA tools at traders cockpit will enable to navigate through the clutter and focus on devising trading strategies for making profits in trading. I am also planning to take up the advanced trading strategies and options module courses.

Watch the youtube videos under channel bse2nse.com by Manikandan.
Will be helpful

10k is 10k Astroguru :)…I’m not much of a classroom person. I also like to watch and learn from the internet and other free videos available. I think they will dump so much material and get all that covered in the 2 days time period I guess I wont remember much of it. You know wad, I ll try learning myself for now and see how it goes. I just considered this training cos I thought you would need someone to explain the charts and stuff for it to be completely imbibed to the listener. Youtube Jaiho!

If you find some interesting topic which you could not comprehend (and is not posted in varsity) you request Karthik to add it to the current content in varsity. I hope he would be glad to add a page on that.
BTW, have u finished Module 2 in varsity, I suggest you start with it, once you are done with it, you can move to complex stuffs, The 19 chapters there is very comprehensive. Not to mention you will get quick responses to all you doubts which you would post there.

Yeah was going through it already…Agree Varsity is pretty good

But this website made it mandatory to get sms from them and also doesn’t have any option to delete account. Not a fond of these things.
