IT Dept stole my refund?

So I have an HUF account and the total income for FY 2024-25 was about Rs. 16,500 (all short term capital gains & dividends). Dividends from shares were Rs. 360. No other income.

TDS (from dividends) deducted was about Rs. 37, as shown here as well:

After I did not get the Rs. 40 refund in my HUF bank account, I logged to the ITR portal to check and this shows in the processed return:

Am I supposed to not get Rs. 40? Why?

What can I do to get this amount? @Quicko

The income tax department in India does not process or pay refunds if the refund amount is less than Rs 100.

Similarly, if the tax demand (amount payable) after processing the ITR is below Rs 100, the taxpayer is neither required to pay this amount nor will it be demanded.

It will get adjusted in the ITR for next year. Happened to me a few times in the past

I file ITR and pay 40 rupees less they didn’t ask me to pay. If you want I can pay you.

Thanks, but it’s not about the amount but process or principles.
