Zerodha P&L Report shows Entry for MON100: Non-Equity Short Team profit of -0.16 Rs.

Transaction Entry/Exit Date shows same day, Do I need to fill ITR2 and show short term capital loss or ITR3 as Intraday? I don’t have any item under Equity - Intraday

This transaction qualifies as an intraday transaction and ITR-3 needs to be filed for that.

@Quicko Why intraday? It is just one transaction, right? and Zerodha is also not reporting it as intraday.

Hello @Abhijit If the security has been purchased and sold on the same day it would be considered as intraday transaction.

@Quicko Zerodha Report shows as Non-Equity STCG, nothing under intraday & F&O

Although it is shown under non-equity section in tax p&l report it would be reported as an Intraday transaction.
