can anyone explain to me like i’m 5 years old, why all itr forms aren’t available for filing from 1st april onwards?
The gov takes tax evasion to be one of the most serious crimes you can commit but they can’t be serious enough to release the forms on time?
I understand that minor changes and updates are made every year. Why aren’t those done on priority and released as soon the assessment year begins? What am i missing?
Maybe because Govt waits for banks, employers, brokers etc. to upload all your tax data first, otherwise people file wrong returns and then cry over notices later, i think they care more about avoiding mismatch/tax leakage than giving a smooth user experience.
Let’s say you have homework to submit. But then teacher says questions are not ready yet. So you have to wait for few more days before she completes her part. You don’t get extra days to complete your homework. But the teacher knew it at first only that she needs more time to prepare questions.
